Comprehensive Rider Safety Training Course - 34 Hour

A class consists of 2 consecutive weekends of training (Saturday/Sunday 9 - 5).
The first portion of the Rider Safety Training Course (approx 20 hours), will prepare you for the M.S.T. (Motorcycle Skills Test) and teach you proper techniques for handling a motorcycle through low speed manouvering.
This course includes the following and more:
- Riding gear knowledge
- Basic motorcycle functions
- Theory instruction on basic riding skills
- Pre-ride inspection
- Proper riding posture
- Low speed maneuvering
- Clutch/throttle control
- Proper braking
- Hill starts
- Turns on a hill
The second portion of this course (14 hours) is designed to prepare the rider for the Road Test. Strategies for low to high traffic conditions will also be introduced and practised out in the street, in the form of group rides.
- Various group rides through low to high traffic conditions
- Proper lane positioning
- Poor weather riding
- Hard braking
- Hazard awareness
- Riding over obstacles
- Shifting gears
- Countersteering
- Emergency maneuvers
- Night Riding - evening training (inclusion to be determined & weather pending)
This course includes the following at no additional charge:
- Free use of bikes and gear
- Unlimited "Motorcycle Skills Test" preparation classes
- Road Test "warm up" ride
- Free use of our bike for either the M.S.T or Road Test
We offer various group rides for those who want additional practice before taking the Road Test.
Numerous skill building maneuvers in preparation for the M.S.T. and Road Test are covered in the course.
Group riding with present and past students offers valuable real-life scenarios that can not be taught in a classroom.
The instruction time is primarily "on bike" riding experience. The best way to learn how to ride, is to get on!

Advanced Operator / Passenger Course - 4 Hour
Cost: $150.00 + $7.50 GST per couple.

Pro-Line Motorcycle Training is now offering this 4 hr. course designed to educate the passenger and the operator on what to expect when riding two-up.
This course is essential to anyone who is planning to start carrying passengers, and also to those who have never been on the back of a bike as a passenger.
Learning to ride a motorcycle is challenging, but carrying a passenger is even harder - what better way to learn how to ride two-up than in a safe, controlled environment.
This course will cover the following and more:
- Theory
- Low speed manouvers
- Tight turns
- Hill starts
- Hazard avoidance
- Quick stops
Class Information
There are many advantages to training with Pro-Line Motorcycle Training.
Each class size is fairly small to adapt to the individual skill level of the riders, allowing for 1-on-1 instruction when necessary.
Rider's can also use their own motorcycle or use one of ours.
Classes are held on weekends. M.S.T (Motorcycle Skills Test) and road tests are held on weekdays.
